Attila (the artist of that card) just replied to me. He says it'sYay !!! I was right !!! I went hunting yesterday and that was my conclusion. I think it's the first time in my life that I've looked at the shapes of the constellations. Maybe I should start. But there's so much to do so much to learn so much that no-one can do everything in one lifetime. Maybe that's why we have many.Gemini, generally associated to the Magician as a symbol of study and learning.
Power to the people. Or as we used to say "Amandla! Awethu!". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIxhrDf8Iv0Joan Marie wrote: β22 Sep 2019, 10:04 This morning I found this lovely addition to our deck in my inbox from Astral Pasta
That's so beautiful that this card struck such a powerful chord for you!Marigold wrote: β22 Sep 2019, 10:17 Power to the people. Or as we used to say "Amandla! Awethu!". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIxhrDf8Iv0
The raised fist is so many things to so many people. So many things but yet still one. It's hugely powerful and I'm sure it is now part of the collective unconsciousness. It's a symbol for the archetype of the resistant. For the Americans, it would be the symbol of black power. In Southern Africa, it was the symbol of resistance to apartheid. For communists it is a symbol of breaking the shackles of the prison of class and exploitation. For the antifa, it's the symbol for anti-fascism.AstralPasta wrote: β22 Sep 2019, 17:14
But then after when I was tracing it I realized it looked like a Black Power fist and that made me really happy too.
