I check regularly the shops and blogs of the tarot artists I love, and I found this new deck on the Paraluman Etsy shop:
Tarot Vandestijl
It's the Tarot Vandestijl, and if, like me, you like the Neo-Plasticist art movement also called de Stijl, then your recognize the style immediately. Mondrian and Rietveld are the most famous representatives of this minimalist art and design style.
Flat picture plane, simple geometric lines with black contours, minimalist palette of three primary colours plus black and white (light and shadow) and sophisticated simplicty are the hallmarks of de Stijl and this deck. The card titles are in Dutch, of course.
Tarot Vandestijl
It looks great. I was always sad to see so many promising projects on his site of unpublished tarot decks, Shards of Light!, Eventide!, I'd love to see them all finished and published!, and I have always dreamed of the Tarot Resom.
Tarot Resom
Unfortunately, it's a Game Crafter deck, meaning shipping makes it unaffordable for me... and it's a Majors only deck. I'd love to see a complete Resom one day!
But until then, there are many Paraluman decks to love, and the Vandestijl is one of them.

OMG! This is a must-have for me! Thanks so much for pointing it out! I love geometric art. I don't know much about art history and styles, but I know what I like. What could be better than a Mondrian tarot??!!
I have a feeling my wallet is going to be a bit lighter soon! Thanks again!

This man is just endlessly talented. Also a very nice person.
I did an interview with him a couple of years ago. You can see it here: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=38

Thanks for promoting my new deck and for all your kind words here!

PS As for the Resom deck, I am slowly migrating my Game Crafter decks to my Hong Kong-based printers (shipping is more affordable for most countries). It might come in slightly differently sized cards, though...

Oh, great news! I'm so happy you continue to create and produce tarot decks.
