Hi everyone,
KhonsuMes here, one of the old ATF denizens.
Coming here to peruse the materials and hopefully better fill the gap left by Aeclectic's closure.
All Best,

Hi and welcome, KhonsuMes. There are quite a few ex ATers here - to me, it feels like a sort of sanctuary, a safe place. Hope you like it too

I remembered how shattered I was when AT closed down - and we celebrated it in a thread that felt like the sinking of the Titanic until AT was literally closed down under our hands - and now I'm glad that insted of this one towering place, we have different forums now. with different characters This one is very special, with an emphasis on tarot creators and writers. You are very welcome. I'm here every day

Tarocchi Durer secondo Giacinto Gaudenzi [limited edition portfolio, majors only, Edizioni d’Arte Lo Scarabeo, each print signed and numbered, 44/50, 1990]
I am seriously impressed.
I used to own one of the portfolios, very few people know exactly how rare and extraordinary those Gaudenzi prints really are.
The Japanese rag paper alone is breathtaking.
That portfolio represents Lo Scarabeo at one of the finest moments of it's history, I can honestly say that to my knowledge, no other publisher has ever come close to achieving a body of work to rival that Gaudenzi/Durer portfolio.....it is without equal, museum quality IMHO.....not an iota of exaggeration.
however, having said all that, I can honestly say that over the years, my tastes and perceptions have changed dramatically, and Gaudenzi's interpretation of Durer no longer appeals to me, so I don't miss that portfolio anymore......but I'm still mighty impressed by it.
Peace to you and welcome.
