The Liminal Tarot: videos

Post by Pen »

Happy Solstice... :)

N.B: just for a quiet few moments, as The Liminal Tarot is out of print.

Beautiful, Pen. Loved them. Do you any plans to reprint some time? Down here it's Winter Solstice. :P

Thank you Rekaj. I've no immediate plans to reprint, although I've been asked this question many times. All the decks are produced in very small signed editions limited to 100, 150 or 200 at the most, and this makes them expensive to produce, so in fairness to collectors any reprints would have to be unsigned and without all the extras such as as personal quality control (I check every card), special wrapping and boxes etc.

I have been asked to consider producing cheaper print-on-demand editions, but if I went down that route I'd change the backs and borders (or go for borderless cards instead) so that the limited editions would remain collectible.

We're having a heatwave here, and all the poor gardens are suffering. Even the wild undergrowth in the woods has wilted terribly. Fingers crossed for rain. I've a rain-maker somewhere though...

I trust the drought breaks soon, Pen - so hard for plants not bred for regular dry weather.
And thanks for getting back about the perennial question of reprinting. While not an artist myself I understand the need for quality control. All best.
