Funnily enough though, there was not much support for deck creators there. At least that was my experience. The only chance you had to promote a deck was to get a paid subscription ($25) which would give you access to a sub-forum called "advertising".

If you dared mention your deck and include a link in any other post, it was shot down fast and a warning issued. That all seemed at odds to me.
That was one thing I wanted to change here. I want artists to freely to share their work here, promote their kickstarters and decks, show us work in progress and that's why we have so many places for them to do all that here.
As far as getting a deck posted in the archive, I've heard different stories, but I know I had to pay $65. Others had to submit free decks. I actually don't see anything that wrong with that, it's a lot of work posting decks (I know) I'm just saying they weren't doing any favours for Indie deck creators.
(Which reminds me, I have to get busy posting decks again.)
But that was a different time. So many things have changed since AT started. It's no longer seen as "crass" to self-promote and most people know how to do it well and tastefully. Kickstarter and Etsy have taken off. A tarot forum can now serve an important function by bringing Indie artists to their audience and vice-versa.
