Celebrating The Fool
For any tarot deck artist, going back to the very beginnings, The Fool is one of the more enjoyable cards to design.
They are depicted every way imaginable, handsome to hideous, destitute to royal, evil to holy, troublemaking to playful, everything you can imagine.
In honour of April 1st, and the whole month of April really, I'd like to invite everyone to share their favourite fools!

Re: Celebrating The Fool
I recently acquired the deck "The Wise Fool", and the artist, Cade Burkhammer did an unusual thing in that in addition to the Major Arcana Fool, Number 0, he also included one for each of the 4 suits.
It's one of those things that once you see it, it seems so obvious, you can't believe no one thought of it before!
Each extra fool has a little bit of the spirit of his suit. here they all are:

Re: Celebrating The Fool
Oh I LOVE favorites threads! I have many favorite fools cards but I'll list the one I currently have online for starters. Should I go through my decks anytime soon I'll add more. This Fool is from the Healing Tarot. Such a foolish little boy!
