The Devil whispers into the Bishop's ear - A tarot origin

Post by CaraHamilton »

How did we attribute meanings to the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana?

My research led to a very interesting possibility. It is on my website. I do hope you enjoy it.

Fascinating. It would be interesting to experiment with that with one of our TdM circles.

I finally took a few minutes and read this. Just unbelievably interesting. Cara shows a link between a medieval 3-dice game and the development of the Tarot.

Cara, I hope you don't mind if I post the chart from your article, I just think that it will make people interested to see how the monks used it in their dice game.

So as an aside, if someone here wd pm me about how to fix this (i cleared my cache and cookies) it wd be so much of a help. I've already googled for solutions...

And HI CoT members! This forum is SO well put together :)

Thank you for the replies folks, glad you like the article.

I have been working and conducting a reading based on the Virtues which I will put on the website soon. It has taken a little time to get a framework that really works well and be easily explainable.

Sorry I have been newish to Wordpress so don't know how to solve problems yet. I agree Bastetly, Cult of Tarot is a really excellent site.

Good lord. This is a most remarkable study and essay. I bow before you.
Rumi was asked “which music sound is haram?” Rumi replied, "The sound of tablespoons playing in the pots of the rich, which are heard by the ears of the poor and hungry." (haram means forbidden)
