This is a first class Tarot deck, the images are created in oil paints and evoke an unmistakeable renaissance influence with a contemporary nuance.

This is a third edition deck and is as conceptually compelling as it is lovely. This is a truly refined and gracious Tarot deck.

The artwork is nothing short of extraordinary, the finesse and beauty of the deck is complemented by a well constructed textured box which reminds one of a fine fabric and adds to the overall appeal of this offering.

The accompanying book is amazing, the quality is on par with that of very high end art publishers such as Taschen, it might even exceed Taschen in certain respects.
With that being said, this is first and foremost an art book and doesn't burden the reader with the usual long winded lectures about the various schools of esoteric systems, so just be forewarned about that.

However, there are already so many available books and treatises on these topics I see no reason why we should be burdened with another. The text is sweet, unassuming and concise, and in this vein there is mercifully no hint of overbearing self aggrandizement.

IMHO this should be added to the list of decks here.

It's a very beautiful deck - I'd have loved to order the book, too, but that was too expensive to me.

It has first class production values, a very strong atmosphere, and there is something mysterious about it. IMO it reads easily. I love the box. This is one of the most high-quality decks I have - a collector's item

And if you say Renaissance - let's rather say Northern Renaissance. A bit like Dürer's wild men.
