Resource for those New to and Seasoned in the Marseilles

Post by BreathingSince72 »

Good morning friends. I came across this series of videos at YouTube which serve as a guide for reading the Marseilles. He has a couple of videos on the playlist prior to the actual intro video so, if you want to dive in, just jump to the video with the word “intro” at the end.

Just adding to this. For those of you with Amazon Prime membership, you can still watch Enrique Enriquez’s documentary Tarology. It’s a fabulous look at reading the TdM in a visual way.

Thanks! I'll be watching it tonight and will critique it on my blog tomorrow. It might entice me to buy his rather, umm, "unique" book.

I did watch this video and, although my past exposure to his ideas had me prepared to be dismissive, I wound up admiring him. Here is my preliminary critique, which I will expand after I watch it a second time.

This video has been around since 2013. It must be something in the stars. I just got around to watching it last week with no expectations or preconceptions. I had seen his name around but that's all.

I was enraptured. He's an artist and a poet who radiates a palpable, peaceful intensity. His reading of the cards was lyrical. I plan to watch it again, and probably again
Cards are cards, just pieces of cardboard. What is important is the intent we give them.

Yes, I agree. His approach to Tarot is different to mine but I so enjoyed watching him. The poetic nature of his reading was beautiful and I can see why people would
flock to him.

I watched this video for the first time a couple of months ago and I, too, was enraptured. I enjoyed everything about the way Enrique presented tarot, life, really. There are areas in which I felt that he and I connect the dots in a similar fashion. I am eager to purchase his books. I know of four: Tarology, Linguistick, Ent Erex it, and Exi Ten Ter...I may have loosed up the last two titles. The way he looks at Tarot is so intriguing.

It's instructive. Too bad he stopped at the Fours. That was two years ago, so I guess it shan't be continued.

I just watched this. I tried to watch it once a long time ago, and for some reason it didn't click with me, but this time it really did.

Thanks for this link, it's free and perfect quality video.

Enrique is a great teacher. I enrolled in his email course previously and he is truly an insightful and compassionate person.
