The Sunflower leaves banner
I made the banner posted today from one of the million photos I have taken of the sunflowers I planted this year.
They have been so amazing and such a delight at every stage. They also attract bees (especially Bumble bees) like nothing I have ever seen.

My beloved stepfather was one of the pioneers of solar energy in his native country. His favorite flower was the sunflower. When he died, much too young, all his students brought sunflowers to his grave. Until today, his grave is overflowing with sunflowers on his birthday and dying day. He brought light and enlightenment to many, and whenever I see a sunflower, I think of him. Such wonderful flowers.
