Hi, I wanted to present my new Tarot documentary to my fellow Tarot enthusiasts. The 21 Faces of God is an exploration of the meaning and spiritual path that is the major arcana. This was a two year labor of love, and I focus on The Fool's journey, using classic films, art, and commentaries from figures like Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung and Terence Mckenna. I hope I've been able to offer a unique perspective on the meaning of the cards.
Here is a link to the serialized version. There is also a long form version on the YouTube channels. There are 27 parts, five background sections, and the one for each of the major arcana. Would love get your feed back.

wow! thanks so much for sharing this! i have just watched the first couple of chapters (paused after the fool) and i am totally captivated by all the information, by the story, and the way you have visualized it. incredible! i am currently reading robert place’s new book (the tarot, magic,alchemy, hermeticism and neoplatonism) and your documentary deepens and enhances the knowledge i am getting from his book.
i am really impressed and cannot wait to watch the rest! oh and i absolutely love all the images and historical video footage you are using in the different chapters. and you have a nice sense of humor/ irony as well, which most certainly helps
will definitely share this with my tarot friends

I've posted the links to this whole series (27 short videos) to the Cult of Tarot Video page (main link in the menu bar) and created a category for it.

I haven't been through them all yet. What I have seen so far is very surprising and a lot of fun to watch. The creator uses film clips and stills to help illustrate the card meanings. Additionally, there are images of each card from several different decks.
It's really an interesting project for sure. Thank you so much Cactusland for sharing it with us!
