Venetian Tarot

Remember that each one of us is a role model. Constantly. To everyone in our sphere.

Even when we are isolated and social distancing, we are seen. We are also online and communicating potentially with masses of people.

Especially in these times (note this Hierophant's plague mask!) of deprivation, every word, every action has even more meaning, more impact.

Use this power, which we all have, wisely.

The Byzantine Tarot
by: Cilla Conway

The times are not easy for anyone.
And for some people it really is brutal.

More than ever we have to remember that kindness, sharing and sacrifice are called for in every situation.

It's our chance to truly exercise our best qualities and when it's all over with, we will be better people.

The Liminal Tarot
by Penelope Cline

I have a friend with PTSD and he learned in therapy that what you do around a set of walls, being around those walls will enforce what you’ve done.

If you have multiple rooms, each room has a history of how you spend time there. You develop a Pavlovian response to each room, whether you realise it or not.

Since we are all stuck inside right now, it's important to make a real effort to create positivity in the spaces we occupy. Try new things in different rooms to imbue them with new meanings for you psychologically.

And sometimes, you gotta do a little banishing.

Imagine your spirit soaring. Don't focus on the why or how. Just simply close your eyes and feel the feeling.

Don't doubt today that your effort is worthwhile. It definitely is. The day is calling for it. And it doesn't have to be strenuous. Just bring some light to some places that need it.

I'm afraid that today words will not suffice for this daily message.
I ask only that you look to this beautiful golden image and take from it some spirit that you can carry for yourself through the day.

Look for the space between things today. For example, the "emptiness" between tree branches, the "silences" between speaking. You may find it isn't nothing after all.

Today would be a good day to find those things that you actually can control and work with them. This will give you the psychic boost you need for dealing with the rest, another day.

Boadicea’s Tarot of Earthly Delights

We face difficult times together. But pain is lessened when it is shared. Make an effort to reach out to people who are facing loss, illness, loneliness, depression and stress and just plain boredom.

Call, text, email, facetime, DMs, etc. There are so many ways to reach out.

From the "l'il white book"
Backstabbed, betrayal, an emotional pain that feels almost unbearable to the point that it can make one temporarily unfunctional.

The keyword here is "temporarily." Don't worry. Don't despair. You are stronger than this. You'll find your footing again soon.

Each one of us sets the wheel in motion every day. We each influence the turn of the wheel and the effect is has on ourselves and on others. It isn't only our words and actions that matter. So does our intent, the inner source of our true selves. You matter. Your love is felt.

Things are starting to settle down in your mind and body despite the outer turmoil. Life is becoming more natural and this is a paradox in what seems to be an unnatural situation. You are closer to your own humanity and true pace. Now, just find a way to live in it somehow.

Take special notice today of colours, shapes and textures of things, and the way the light is hitting, the way it comes through a window at a certain moment. These are the sensations that real and lasting memories are made of and that keep life from rushing by unnoticed.

Sasuraibito Tarot

A good day for making plans.
The first step toward building the foundation you need is to set in your mind what you want and what you need.

When you do this, consider that your material needs are a reflection of your emotional and spiritual needs.

Consider first what those really are. Dig deep, below the surface. It will help bring the rest into sharper focus.

The season, literal and figurative, that we are living in now, will soon pass. It will soon be gone, of the ages, never to return. Let's attempt today to appreciate it without assigning emotion to it and honour it, whatever it is, while it is still here because it will live on in our memories. So let's prepare a nice place for it.

The Empathic Oracle

Vladimir Nabokov wrote an autobiography called "Speak Memory."

Rather than focusing on a linear series of event to describe his life story, he allowed his mind to wander and allowed memories of colours and textures and light to lead his story. He could go on and on about a summer day from his childhood, or a feeling of exhilaration he had in a new city, yet wrote only one sentence about the most tragic and shocking event of his life, when his father was assassinated. He never explained that. But I suspect he was numbed when it happened and has no real sensation memory of it, doesn't recall textures or colours or light. He'd have had to delve into another kind of thinking to tell us about it and that wasn't the kind of book he was writing.

He was experimenting with memory as it related to time and to nature. He was exploring how we really connect things in our minds. The result is one of the most interesting and genuine recollections of a life ever written.

Today give a thought to your own life story and scribble down a memory or two based on sensations. If not today, over time.

Have a lot on your mind? Don't try to solve or do everything at once. There is less pressure than you think. Take things one-by-one. It's better for you and better for everyone around you. Don't forget to breath, even if you have to stop what you are doing to do it.

26 April: Kamienie Wróżą Oracle

Post by Joan Marie »

Kamienie Wróżą Oracle

Opal is the stone of love and faithfulness. It is a stone whose true beauty can only be seen in the light and with careful eyes. An opal is full of surprises, luminous qualities that are not always apparent right away. Let the sunlight in today to clear your view and allow yourself to see more deeply, below the surface. You could be missing out on a lot if you don't, cheating yourself out of love and friendship, beauty and growth.
