I was thinking about love and relationship readings a lot lately, as I've been contemplating the complexity of human relationships. I have many unorthodox friendships and relationships in my life, and there seem to be very few 'mainstream' reading layouts that address the subject well in my opinion (at least, I haven't seen them yet). I usually like the more in-depth versions as they can throw up interesting alternate perspectives, but aside from the Lovers' Path spread and the Heart of Faerie spread from the Froud oracle deck, I haven't yet seen any that really inspired me to do relationship readings.
This is a bit of a problem of course as a lot of people want them
I was thinking of trying to make one based on Jungian psychology and the various steps needed to form a good relationship, but I've never created a spread before so I'm a bit overwhelmed by the idea, especially as it's good to have both perspectives to get a holistic reading. Plus ADHD complicates things, as once I get over 15 cards it becomes almost impossible to read
Anyway I'd love to hear your perspectives! What makes a good relationship spread, ones you like, what kind of motivations and insights are useful to study, anything is welcome in the pot. I have tried the old Aeclectic spread list but had trouble finding many relationship spreads for some reason.
