Please tell me which card this is !

Discussions about individual cards, their symbolism & meanings. How the cards combine and speak to us in spreads is another thing altogether! Here we learn about both.

Please tell me which card this is !

Post by Diana »

So you open this thread and expect to see a picture of a card.

Nope... not this time. This time I'm looking for a card in some deck which I know exists but can't put my finger on it. I've been searching my brain for two days and it's eluding me constantly. I've spent also a lot of time hunting for it on google images, but it's very difficult because I don't know what words to type into google.

Now I can tell you that it is in a historical deck. (funny written alliteration that : It Is In). It's definitely not an RWS deck or a Thoth or anything recent. It's some kind of older deck. I don't remember the name of the card. But a lot can be eliminated because I remember it's one guy only on it. He's standing up. And on his chest and maybe legs or arms he's got sort of round circles on him - almost a bit like weird chakra points. About five or six maybe.

That's all I can tell you. I can't tell you more because as I mentioned in a thread once, I have aphantasia (inability to visualise mental images) so I can't describe it to you because I don't have picture of it in my mind. Only the details I told you and I don't remember any more.

It's annoying me hugely because I SHOULD remember what it is. I know it's something that I've seen a million times. At least.

Who can help me out here ?

Bump. Still looking. Some people on TT&Me have also looked for me and even contacted non forum people, but no-one has a clue what card I'm talking about.

I know it exists and that I'm not dreaming. I used to see it all the time on google images - and now it's stubbornly refusing to appear.
