Update: Found that these cards were originally made some time between 1890 and 1917; I didn't know that the tax stamp of 1890 was only on the earliest cards. They were illustrated by Henri Armengol and the instructions were written by a young Georges Muchery (born in 1892) who became a known occultist, astrologer and author.
There are 48 cards, 12 Majors, planets, Sun, Moon, nodes, ascendant, and 36 Minors -- the 12 signs, each with 3 decans. As I worked on these treasures I was more and more captivated. Now, anxiously awaiting my proof copy from the printer. What do you think?
