The photo I used for the banner today is one I took myself many years ago when I went on a small ship in the Arctic Circle, around the Islands of Svalbard north of Norway.

So glad I went and saw that. Places like "The Arctic" sound so far away, like you could be talking about Mars. But it isn't far. It's right there, just a couple of plane rides away. It's part of this beautiful planet we live on, this small fragile world.

Today December 22 2020, the banner is made from a photo i took of a frozen puddle.

Some of you might recognise the constellation in today's banner.

It's Aquarius. The Sun just entered it today.

Already feeling a little better.

(the only problem for me, is every time I hear the word "Aquarius", that song starts playing in my head. )
