Metta Meditation

If any of you would like to try out Metta Meditation, I have found a really nice guided one on youtube.

It only about 10 minutes long, but very powerful.

She takes you through the stages of this meditation focused on bringing the power of loving kindness to yourself first and then expanding it further and further out.






Once you are familiar with the stages as she demonstrates them, you can do the practice yourself and add this recitation at each stage:

May ____________ be
Happy and peaceful
Safe and protected
Healthy and strong
And at home in the world.

But if you've never done it, just start with the video. Believe me, it can't hurt.
