is the artist who painted the portrait of Pamela Colman Smith on the cover of the US Games publication:
"Pamela Colman Smith: The Untold Story "

I was curious as to who painted the portrait of P.C. Smith and after an easy Google search discovered the identity of this unsung hero; although the book will undoubtedly give him praise and credit.......at least credit if not praise.

I like his style and I thought it was appropriate to bring to light the life of the artist who immortalized the celebrated "pixie" on canvas.

Excerpt:

"In about 1902, after completing his studies in France, Cole moved to England where he met the sculptress, Margaret (aka Peggy or Pigotty) Ward Walmsley; he married her in 1903. Peggy Cole was a close friend of Pamela Colman Smith, and it was through her that Alphaeus met "Pixie." The Coles became frequent attendees at Smith's weekly open house parties."
