There are many sources to understand the tarot. To understand the tarot cards combination you have to knowledge about tarot deck and their cards meaning.

If I'm understanding the question correctly, the OP is asking about a free source for
combined meanings.
There's actually very little written on the subject. You can learn a lot more about combining cards from material about Lenormand or playing card reading than you can from Tarot sites. Off the top of my head, I can't think of
any free Tarot-specific resources on combining cards. There's one(!) book about it, it's not free but it's inexpensive:
