This morning I was listening to a comedian on youtube while I was making my breakfast and she was telling the story of when her home burnt to the ground. She was on her balcony reading tarot while her daughter was inside watching TV. It was the daughter who first saw the flames through a window and ran and told her mom. The comedian said, "I know that probably seems funny that I was reading tarot at the time but isn't like there's a card that says 'Quick, look to your left!" "


The other random thing is a newsletter that was in my inbox today. The main article was "Making Manifestation Happen." This is from the article:

We’re under so much stress that it’s often difficult to take time to make manifestation happen in our lives.

So, are they talking about.... manifesting manifestation?

Sounded a little,..circular to me then I scrolled down and saw that for the low low price of just $300 USD I could purchase this "Manifestation Ring"

So I haven't even finished my coffee and already got my second good laugh for the day.

I just pictured the whole TV commercial for this ring in my head.

A really stressed out looking woman, hair falling in her face, cigarette smouldering in the ashtray, trying to put together her "Vision Board" but the baby is crying, dog barking and the phone ringing.

She spills her glitter which causes her to knock over her glass of wine onto her vision board, and that's the last straw: total meltdown.

Next shot, she's in bed with her computer in the dark, clock showing 03:28 am. She orders "The Manifestation Ring"

Next shot, super handsome delivery man (who looks a lot like the picture of young George Clooney she was gluing to her vision board earlier) winks and hands her the package containing the ring.

Things are looking up already!

I'm seeing it - and I wouldn't put it past them to steal your idea, joke or otherwise. I saw something else on YouTube - a 'lucky' black and gold Chinese bracelet. The video featured a long story about a very high flying woman whose career (and relationship and everything else) suddenly crashed for some reason. She was wandering the desolate streets when she saw a homeless man slumped in a doorway so she bought him some food (as far as I remember). I sometimes watch clickbait wondering if it could be true, with this one I was curious to see how much the thing cost after what seemed a very professionally presented video.

To cut a long story short, he gave her this 'lucky' black and gold obsidian Chinese bracelet, her luck reversed, but I think then she either gave it to a friend or lost it. Luckily she was able to find another online and bought a load to give to friends and keep a new one and a spare for herself.

The thing is, I couldn't help wondering why the man was homeless if he was in possession of this 'lucky' bracelet!

I was sitting here, eating leftover curry for breakfast (and mulling why I'd forgotten to make coffee while I was in the kitchen) when I started reading this. Now I have curry stains on my shirt from laughing and wishing I had my own manifestation ring so I could just make that coffee come to me for the low low price of...

That ring is 'rad,' but it seems more like something I'd get for $12.95 at a head shop.
