Benebell Wen has just released a new video wherein she, in her typical pleasant and info-packed way, discusses the importance, the uses and the accessibility of Shadow Work.

She really takes it out of the shadows. You can see it here: Shadow Work | Bell Chimes In #37

It really is worth the 20 minutes. She is so inspiring.

Oh yes she is. She's a great explainer and definitely NOT an impostor :-)

Her definition of shadow is wider and more pragmatic than mine, and I think that's great to get a grip on the shadow. To use a metaphor - she picks up Ariadne's thread much earlier before entering the really murky and frightening part of the labyrinth.

For me personally, the main part of the shadow is guilt, guilt, guilt. Call it the heritage of a solid Protestant education ;-) I can't get rid of all those horrible feelings of guilt and shame and remorse. It's much easier for me to deal with anger or other negative emotions. But for me, the center of the labyrinth and home of the monster is guilt.

Benebell's approach is very helpful and I love her. She's so lucid, so eloquent, her whole face so animated when she talks. A great teacher.
