The Monday SKT Ritual

Post by Joan Marie »

For those of you following the 22-week plan, I wonder if you share my pleasure at the weekly recitation of the Invocation of the Magi.
Each week it becomes more meaningful to me.

And I have to admit, I get especially charged by the last line:
May the Eye of Horus protect me, keep me in safety, and may my adversaries fall down headlong before me.
HA! 😉

Well, even if I don't know anything about Monday's SKT Ritual, I think I'll do this one right now! I think my adversaries may be those that are in my head (although some do seem to be external ones as well). I think I'll include those in my head (but the external ones I will laugh about thinking of them falling down headlong - perhaps in the mud to make things even more fun !!!)
Rumi was asked “which music sound is haram?” Rumi replied, "The sound of tablespoons playing in the pots of the rich, which are heard by the ears of the poor and hungry." (haram means forbidden)

I like this although I don't have the 22 week working with SKT on paper. I honestly have yet to dive into the SKT deck, it's just been sitting in my tarot drawer waiting for an opportune moment for me to really dive in. And I really want to give it my all. This does sound great though. Keep doing everyday and I'm sure synch in everyday life will start overlapping and building up.
