Dreamt of a light creature

Hi all 
I had this dream the other night. I was out in the forest sitting around a fire when suddenly what I thought was a light creature came walking out of the woods. It looked a bit like Gandalf - the wizard from LOTR - but in addition he had a light surrounding him. He touched me and I immediately felt healed as I woke up.
I have some questions though:
1) Is light creatures part of any specific mythology?
2) Can he come back and heal more? How?
3) Are they also in real life/awaken life?
