Previously on Kickstarter:

This is a serious and noteworthy Tarot deck of the Queer Persuasion, and I mean Queer in the most contemporaneous sense.

The stylized artwork is florid and entrancing, and the imagery embraces the essence of Transgender equality through a unique approach to the Rider Waite-Smith.

The overall body of work elegantly celebrates the fluidity of gender roles and firmly characterizes the evolution of LGBTQ consciousness at its current zenith.

This deck looks spectacular. I’ve long held that the greatest contribution Pamela Coleman-Smith made to the Tarot was introducing gender ambiguous figures and this deck takes that idea and runs with it. If I had seen this campaign sooner I would have donated to it.

To be honest, I seriously question whether gender-ambiguity was intentional or simply Pamela's inherent style/technique, I firmly believe the latter to be the case, but let's not digress.

Any discussion of PCS should be on a different thread.

Regarding the Fyodor Pavlov Tarot, the Minor Arcana stays more within the traditional vein of interpretation and appearance, although this isn't to say that the Minors are any less triumphant in their depictions.

However, IMHO, it's the Major Arcana that really shines most brilliantly, particularly in The Lovers card.

This deck is bold and overcomes the superficiality of skin-deep beauty with real integrity.

I agree that The Lovers is particularly striking and affecting. I would also add The World as another of the majors that really jumped out at me.
