Oh I would love to be part of it ! I'm thinking of something like a neon galactic goddess representing the hopes for the future. She will obviously wear a glowing crown and be surrounded by stars. She would be cold and scary but would suggest promising steps towards brighter days. That's how I see the Future. Mysterious, neutral and open. I don't know about the color palette yet but probably a "negative photograph" style of coloring. I wanted to use this for one of the last artworks I have left to make for my own deck but I'll enjoy doing it for this oracle first. I'll do my best to start working on it asap.

Oh Gaby, wonderful! I'm so happy you are joining us again. You idea sounds brilliant.

I’m definitely excited to give this a shot. As I only draw and paint skeletons and have painted my version of La Muerte from the Loteria deck before, I’m hoping this is good practice for this oracle. Stars and crowns are a staple of the art I love, primarily influenced by Mexican and early South American symbolism.

I just finished some writing that was needed for my Tarot project so I can start on my card art now.

I'm planning to do a card based on the Greek myth "Astraea" She is also sometimes called the "Star Maiden" I'll do either painting or heavily photoshopped photograpy. Astraea was a goddess of justice was the last of the immortals to live with humans during the Golden Age. Astraea abandoned the earth during the Iron Age. Disgusted by the wickedness of humanity, she ascended to heaven to become the constellation Virgo. She's a bit like a combination of Justice and The Star in tarot. In an astrological chart Astraea represents moral values, reasoning and good judgement and Astraea in the natal chart shows how we weigh up the options and choose the best course of action for us that fits into our moral values and beliefs.

I'd love to be a part of this.

There is a concept around this deck. Please have a look to the first post in this thread for that.

However, the concept is open to the artist's interpretation, so there is a lot of creative freedom there.

There will also be a booklet that the artists contribute a description of their card(s) to.

I will send you the link to that document, which we are creating together.
