I just got me a copy of the beautiful Chalice Tarot and I think it is just what I need this week.

The colors aren't just vibrant, they are positively powerful.

MONDAY

I can't help it but this card makes me think of Yellow Submarine. Or if a scene from Yellow Submarine was set in Las Vegas.

There's an intense sense of movement of lots of things happening at once, changing and turning. Good card for a monday morning! ANd it's true I do have a lot on y plate and I realise the only way to deal with it is just to jump in and do what I can when I can. Thinking about it is just stressy as well as unproductive. Working on stuff distracts me from all the other tasks and is actually productive.

This card is encouraging me today. The Prince looks like he's taken leave of the city, the hustle bustle and retreated, not far, but a bit to the outskirts. Tent ready. I need to do this.

I used to travel a lot. And now I don't at all. I miss the way travel gets me out of my head, changes my perspective. For the meanwhile I'd better find some alternative because I feel the colour draining.

This card is a bit more muted in color than the others and it suits what i see here which is a call for some balance, some self-reflection. Step out of the limelight for a few and reassess and prepare.

These cards really give me flashbacks to animations from the 60s and 70s. These colours are so vivid and swirling. This prince of Cups has something to offer, something new but he looks a little nervous. You never know how something will be recieved and timing is so important. These dark figures around him make me feel like the time is not quite right yet.

But there will be a time, very soon. The Prince is right to be cautious because what he has is precious.

It is great to see responses like these to my cards, and to see them being interpreted via another's eyes and responses to the images.

The Yellow Submarine thing has been commented upon before. I grew up on the 60's and 70's so I girss psy helix imagery did seep Its way into my subconscious

Light and shadow. That's what this card makes me think of. Find what's hidden, what is less apparent. And pay attention to it.

I missed Saturday so I drew 2 cards today.

This 6 of Cups is challenging my perspective. Is that rain-wallpaper or are we outside in the psychedelic rain and this window-portal appears?

Well, combined with this super-relaxed hanged man, Imma gonna enjoy the day and seek out some colour and experience the wonder of normal things.
