A friend of mine was looking through my Button Soup deck the other evening and when she saw this card she just froze:




She started to go on about what it says about a woman's life and she saw all these things in it and said she wants it tattoo'd on her lower leg.
She's been looking for a piece of art just for that purpose and now she's found it.

She asked me to write the artist and ask permission. I did and he, Ian Black, replied that he'd be flattered and honoured and asked only for a pic of the finished work.

My friend is thrilled, and said as soon as the tattoo shops re-open she's doing it. So I am really looking forward to posting that pic here.

Its sound amazing that your friend found something she liked.
I have a tato that i drew myself together with an tato artist and its a picture of a skeleton watering a heart that has a plant growing from its inside.
Lastly, i think Its very polite of her to want permission from the illustrator.

It is an amazing card, and it will make an amazing tattoo. Very powerful image. Oh, the Button Soup Tarot looks so great.

Thrilling for the original artist to know that someone found their work so meaningful that they decided they wanted it to be with them always.
