Hey everyone!

I'm an artist from Houston, TX that goes by the moniker Wizard of Barge. I've just recently finished my first fully illustrated tarot deck and am in the process of funding it via Kickstarter. It's currently halfway through the campaign and already almost double the goal!

I'm really excited to finally show this giant body of work! It's more of a conceptual approach that your typical decks, I even changed the suits to add a really fun unique element and to match my art style better! I'd LOVE for you to check it out and give me any feedback you have! It's been the largest project I've worked on to date and I'm so glad it's a success! You can check it out for yourself here..

You should change the title awe as there is already the wizards tarot and it is awesome snd will come first in discussion. It was confusing when ellen duggan released the witches tarot as cannon reed slready has the witches tarot by some yeasrs.
The green witch tarot has green to differnate. As you
Want a title to make it unique.
If you feel strongly to wizards hmm it is hard to mske outany real imagery in your kickstarter.
Maybe wizards fanatsy, the fanatsy wizards , i never saw the magicians tarot yet.

Wizard of Barge Tarot?

Thanks for sharing with us. Your deck looks really fun and congratulations on a successful Kickstarter.

I will add it to the list of Current Crowdfunding campaigns on the homepage.

It's the epitome of a Houston deck - and I mean that in a good way.

People think of Houston as straitlaced, but it's about weirdness, it's trippy. Not in a laidback Austin kind of way, either. Dangerous. But fascinating. And little fun weirdnesses, too, like the time people suddenly received broadcast TV from the 1940's - years later, the 1960's IIRC. And those fantastic old Karl Hoefle phone book covers http://file770.com/wp-content/uploads/2 ... lgh631.jpg

I google image searched that other Wizard's Tarot, it looks pretty generic. I think this is the one people will remember.

I am sorely tempted. :ugeek:
