Hi everyone

Am really happy to be a part of this forum...cannot wait to explore all the different pages!

A wee bit about me...my name is Yasmeen and I create tarot /oracle decks. My journey into tarot creation was by accident.

Three years ago, after having my son, I suffered severe post natal depression ( was suicidal). I tried talking therapy but I am avery private person and find it hard to verbally express emotions. Long story short, I discovered that I could show my feelings by creating art, so I leant photoshop techniques off YouTube and ended up creating artworks, which I recognised as tarot images and within a year, the Tarot of Enchanted Dreams was complete.

I self piblished about 100 decks, before Schiffer Books offered me a contract to publish it. It now releases on November 28th this year by them!

Its crazy, right?

I have now finished the images for my second deck - The Deck of the Enchanted Soul (yea...there seems to be an 'enchanted' theme going on!- which I will self publish a limited edition, and Schiffer are interested in this deck too.

So, thats my crazy, journey into creating decks! I guess, I have my wee boy to thank for pushing me into my life purpose, as when I am sat infront of the computer creating, I am at my happiest!

I just had a look at your webpage. Your work is just brilliant. And we are honoured that you've joined our deck project!

I have to comment on one thing you wrote:

Sorry for being so "high on straw" in my previous post...

I've looked at your decks now, and I must say "wow". They are so beautiful.

I have for a long time - after being intuitive before - read tarot by just using a text book. But after I looked at your deck I was inspired to read the images and use my intuition rather than textbook facts.

I wanted to pre-order the Soul-deck, but I need to save some money before I'm able to do that.

It's nothing wrong with the price though. It's limited edition, exclusive and hand made art, craft and wisdom which is well worth it

Am glad you like the decks...truth be told I am not a big fan of the guidebooks and would rather not have to write them ( its my leadt favourite part), and I tend not to read the books, other than admire the pages inside. I want to create stuff where the images tell the story, where theallow the intuition to take over....just you & your inner knowing.

Thank you for considering the Enchanted Soul...its a bit pricey as you know, limited number = higher printing costs!
