Hello

Post by Epitaf »

I am not an advanced reader but I'm not a beginner either. I've been doing at least a three card reading using the Rider-Waite deck every night since about a week ago.

My first Tarot book was Jung and Tarot: an archetypal journey by Sallie Nichols. I read that when it first came out, in my twenties, and was a changed person thereafter.

I also like to read Meditations on the Tarot: A Journey into Christian Hermeticism. There is no end to that book even if read cover to cover (which I haven't yet).

So you see, I am not a good card reader but I'd like to improve. Without Liz Dean's The Ultimate Guide to Tarot I would be lost.

Welcome to the forum, Epitaf. I'm sure you have more knowledge and intuition than you imagine, also that there are so many ways of reading the cards that it's pretty much impossible to define 'good' in this instance, unless one is going solely by immediate definite results/answers, which is not always the way a reading seems to work.

There are lots of different sections for readings here and opportunity to practise, and everyone is very friendly. :D

Hi and welcome! I've been doing this for years, and I still get excited when I find a book or deck that really speaks to me! There are many goodies here on the forum, too, so enjoy! I look forward to seeing you around here!
