Can a deck of Tarot cards cause others to have bad dreams?

I know this answer to be no, I know they themselves cant cause others to have nightmares, but a couple of my roommates have been having nightmares the past few nights, and one believes its because of my decks. I keep them protected in boxes, with black tourmaline stones with each and I always smudge a new deck. Regardless of these things I know they wont just cause nightmares, but I thought asking others would help show him this is not true. Tho I think a smudging of the house would be a good anyway. Why should pieces of cardboard mass printed in China have any more effect upon one's sleep than a box full of old Pokemon cards or a pile of dogeared issues of Better Homes and Gardens? Fear of the unknown could probably cause bad dreams. Maybe do readings for your roommates, showing them how cards work.

Yes, they're just little pieces of paper. But also the power they have comes from the reader. If you show them your power is to use cards only to help yourself and others, they will feel much better about it all!

This! it just says your roommates are afraid some things they are keeping under carpet will came at surface, dreams are usually what our subconscious is trying to bring attention to our conscious mind some issue it was ignoring, so tell them cards will only bring at surface what they need to know and solve asap!

Absolutely what Reall said. If your roommate is afraid of tarot cards and associates them and occult practicing with scary things, that can cause bad dreams. If this is a person you want to become good friends with, I would find ways to make tarot less scary for them. A lot will depend on why they are afraid, what they would need to see or know to help combat that fear. There could be a lot of reasons, each needing to be tackled a little differently.
