Re: Special Announcement about Cult of Tarot
Thank you for all that you've done, Joan-Marie. I think forums are really difficult to make work these days, with social media consuming so much of the attention and discussion that would normally keep a forum alive. And there's some strong competition in the space. I like your idea of a drop-in page.

Re: Queen of Pentacles (RWS)
I tend to see family growth in the aces and the three of cups, possibly three of wands, as well as to a lesser degree in the Empress, Sun, and QoP. I agree with others' reservations about the fertility thing - sure, it can be there in the Empress and Queen of Pents, but I don't think it's the domina...

Re: Confused by answers from Tarot cards
This is a learning forum, not a place for free readings, so you need to explain the reading yourself for feedback. Why do you interpret them in the way that you do? You need to provide your understanding of the meanings for each card and how you see them relating to each other. Why did you draw four...

Re: Today's Card: Questions & Comments
The first thing I do when visiting this site, is to read the tarot card of the day - unfailingly. Thanks Joan 💛 Me too, one of my favorite features of the site. Do we have a 'previous cards of the day' list? I was going to mention one that had resonated but I can't recall which it was. No matter if...

Re: Tarot Card Meanings
Greetings 'heathmanifested' - ok, so it's somewhat poor form to spam your own sites and not participate, but that aside, there are some pretty good pages on the site. If someone is looking for Tarot card meanings I would usually direct them to Biddy Tarot https://www.biddytarot.com/tarot-card-meanin...

Don't take the cards or yourself too seriously, but be open to their potential. They can be such a wonderful tool for communication and growth.

Re: O.B.O.D Bardic Training
I tried it years ago but I have found it very dogmatic, as in every spiritual practice really. Also, there is very little left of druids and their history so a lot is New Age and made up. I think that could be said of many faiths, and they are transparent about that.I'm not sure that being a recons...

Re: Childhood Friendship Reading, pls I need your feedback!
I really like what other people told you. I agree with them and I'm just going to offer yet another completely perspective. It is an assumption on your part that them cancelling your Instagram feed was about you/him as childhood friends and not something to do with him changing what comes through h...

Re: Do you categorize your decks?
You mention the Druidcraft and Arthurian, and now I'm wondering why I don't have an Arthurian or Celtic theme? Or a Matthews deck theme? And why I don't have the Druidcraft in my Wicca category? Back to the never ending tinkering with the list! Thanks for your input! Glad to be of service :D oh I h...

Re: Do you categorize your decks?
That's really interesting. You could do a Wordpress blog library with a blog entry for each deck and a tag for each theme they belong to. I don't have that many decks, so for me it's just 'Tarot' and 'Non-Tarot' lol. Or perhaps 'decks I use' and 'decks I am too lazy to move on'. I think themes are r...

Hello and welcome! I do have a pack of Gypsy Witch cards in the bottom of my deck box somewhere... I must get them out. Join in and have fun! Re: Childhood Friendship Reading, pls I need your feedback!
My childhood friend stopped following me on Instagram out of nowhere. He is married but we never talked about us having romantic feelings. I asked him why and didn't explain, so I used my tarot cards and this is the spread. *****The devil, 2 of Swords, and Knight of Cups******* I did pull up anothe...

What about a spread that's more about What needs more attention right now, What needs less, What's my top priority this month, etc. ... (One of the things I like to do is speed through a deck assigning each card to one of the things on my list, like your list of work, family, etc . Without thinking...

Re: What digital decks do you own?
My phone would run out of space if I tried to download too many and I'm not sure how to back up the apps elsewhere, but also I will always want the physical deck even when I have the app. So I look at acquiring decks rather than their apps, because I know myself–I'll get the app and still hanker af...

Spread suggestion needed: life balance
I'm trying to work out how to balance my life and move all its streams forward. Study, work, creative work, spiritual path, family. I'm a struggling to manage it all and to make it work in concert. I've tried reading with a card in each place but I need something that works to weave them together. A...

Re: The Tower as a recurring daily card
I feel like the whole world is facing down a Tower situation right now. Even if you're in a comfortable place yourself, no-one is an island. I also often see these cards as a snapshot of one possible path - sometimes they'll be averted by action, so it can be a warning to check your footing, check y...

Re: This Week’s Deck, Tarot of the Hidden Realm
Thank you for sharing your readings. I've just purchased the digital version of this deck. It's beautiful! I'm not really a fairy person but a description of it where someone said it was like all these lovely people had just gone off to live in the forest kind of sold me on it. Because how I'd love ...

Re: What digital decks do you own?
I'm trying to decide if I want to convert about half my decks to Digital files and find the paper copies new homes. What digital decks do you own?
I've bought three from Fool's Dog - the Gaian, So Below, and today treated myself to the Hidden Realm. I think I'll get the Robin Wood next. I hope these apps will be maintained going forward - I just love them. I'd been a bit iffy about the idea but wanted to enjoy the Gaian's wisdom without waitin...

I think Facebook is a fine place for discussing recipes and grandchildren and all that. When you open up those doors on a forum like this 2 things happen.
