Re: Dark Decks
Going by feeling and not exactly theme, I’ll toss in that Ophidia Rosa has always felt dark to me, like deep forest. Every time I’ve thought about buying it I haven’t felt ready for that. I’ll be back to add a few more I’ve seen around once I have the chance <3 (Also thank you all for mentioning so...

Re: How to learn your Tarot deck
I usually just enjoy looking at all the cards. Often I jump in right away and do a reading with it. A few times I've interviewed my deck (e.g. Little Red Tarot Get to know your Tarot Deck Interview Spread)

Re: Dark Decks
Of course it all depends what you mean by dark. One of my all-time favourite decks is the Crows Magick. It's the one that brought me to a deeper understanding of Tarot. You may have heard of a deck called the Cult of Weimar? :) Other darkish decks I have New Orleans Voodoo Tarot of the Celtic Faerie...

Re: What parameters do you follow for buying a deck?
Yeah, and different people have different ideas about what's a Thoth deck. I once got my knuckles wrapped in a Thoth reading circle for using a deck (forgot which one - Miller's Universal maybe?) that wasn't Thoth enough. Yes, I like a lot of decks that stretch interpretations really far. The Karma ...

Re: NEW MEMBERS - Tell us your Tarot Story
How did you get started in Tarot? Oracles? Lenormand? Definitely Tarot. Oracles I look at only occasionally. My grandmother used to "read the cards" to the rich farmers' wives in Germany right after the war, when everyone else was starving. I have no idea where she picked that up - she ca...

Re: I wish this forum was more active!
Hi - finally came over to join. I used to be quite active off and on on Aeclectic and haven't really found a new home yet. Also have decided on a new name; let's see what turning over a new leaf looks like. Or a new card

Re: What parameters do you follow for buying a deck?
Like for anyone else, the artwork needs to speak to me. I am also in a lull re buying decks (I have about 65) because I don't want to have decks that I don't want to or have time to read with. Fortunately I've ended up with only a few that don't do much for me. I also go in for variety - I really do...

Claiming this reading - I've been focused so hard on my growth, I need the reminders to make sure my energy is spent on things that will bear fruit. image0.jpg Your boundaries are being tested and it is time to get out of whatever situation is causing you distress. You did not ask for this hardship...
