Re: What's the Deck-Stork bringing?
Got my Cosma Visions deck and Cosma/Prisma Visions guidebook in from the Kickstarter campaign. The cards are gorgeous and I’m going through the book before doing a reading, but it looks promising.

Re: The Greenwood Tarot
Well that is disappointing. I appreciate releasing the images for us to use as we wish, but I prefer the quality of a professionally produced deck. I’m extremely disappointed that this reprint is being done without Chesca’s permission, as I could not use a deck that is so compromised.

Re: The Greenwood Tarot
Does anyone have a good tutorial on the best way to get cards printed in MPC from the files provided by Chesca? I'm not sure that that MPC would print images for which the copyright is not owned by the uploader, as before the images are passed for publication one always has to tick a box saying tha...

Re: The Greenwood Tarot
The reprint is very controversial. I don't claim any special knowledge about it, but many people in the tarot community are upset that this reprint is being done without the permission of Chesca Potter, the artist, who apparently holds the copyright to the art. Chesca went out of contact with the c...

Re: Best RWS reproduction: MPC Study Deck or 1909 Art Restoration?
https://i.imgur.com/d3nTSCo_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium I received the study deck. It’s very nice! It is dark, more so than the Centennial, but the colors look far more accurate. For example, the Emperor’s throne is a very light gray in the Centennial, while in the study...

Re: Best RWS reproduction: MPC Study Deck or 1909 Art Restoration?
I adore the RWS, so this info is a godsend. Thanks a ton, Merrick. Glad I could provide some useful info! There’s sadly very little info about either deck out there, which is kind of wild because both are pretty much exact reproductions of the most desired RWS decks in existence (unless one prefers...

Re: Thoth: Looking for a new Deck
Here's my trimmed US Games large green box (left) beside my still in the cellophane US Games medium lavender box (right) Thoths.jpg Trimmed large = 4 1/2 x 3 inches Medium = 4 3/16 x 2 3/8 inches So the trimmed is just slightly larger than the medium. I also have a trimmed small (pocket Swiss) if y...

Re: Best RWS reproduction: MPC Study Deck or 1909 Art Restoration?
Well, I really went back and forth on these two. Ultimately I decided to go for the study deck, based on the Pam A scans. What pushed me over the edge are the scans I found here: https://blog.goo.ne.jp/valet_de_coupe/e/10b39ab41d023e6b44bb7d7b7209c772 And that same site has Pam A scans as well. Comp...

Re: 3 of Swords
I feel it’s worth pointing out that this is close to an exact copy of the Sola Busca three of swords: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/21/b8/b0/21b8b03bc980c332bb2e1d391ce1fb35.jpg From what I’ve read, PCS had significant leeway in drawing the minor illustrations, but Waite did urge her to attend a So...

Re: Thoth: Looking for a new Deck
Today I received my AG Müller, large size print version of Thoth. It's big! A real pain to shuffle actually, but I really do love the big prints. It did come from Germany but the book and all are in english. BTW, regarding the copyright, it says on this box that it is held (as stated earlier in thi...

Re: Do what thou wilt?
Crowley summed up the Thelemic philosophy as “Do what thou wilt” but like the joke of the Buddha ordering a hot dog from a street vendor and saying “Make me one with everything,” the pithy summation does not do justice to the nuance of the philosophy that spawned it. The Book of the Law is very shor...

Best RWS reproduction: MPC Study Deck or 1909 Art Restoration?
Hi all, For a good while I’ve been using an RWS Centennial which frankly I think is a stellar deck. I’ve gifted my deck to my partner as she really fell in love with it and instead of just buying another copy for myself, I thought I’d go one step further and find a deck that corrects the few things ...

Thanks! It's supposed to be delivered tomorrow but is currently in Montana, so I suspect you're right, especially as there's a handoff from FedEx to local USPS once it arrives in the city. I will let you know when it arrives.

I drew these cards for your query: What a lovely deck, a very unique look to it, such lively colours and cheerful expressions. Gotta get it! What is it? Re: Merrick’s Mundanities
Interesting. I'd probably have read that as some kind of administrative snafu. I'm curious to see how it turns out. Just to elaborate, I saw the intertwined lines of the swords as the web/internet, the two swords cutting through as Rachel and the doctor eventually connecting. The oval shape of the ...

Hey Charlie,
I’m taking leave from work for childcare purposes. I just filed for unemployment per the COVID allowances in my state and I’m wondering if I have a long wait until my application is processed.
Thanks!
