Lilac Dondorf Lenormand c. 1878 from Old Lenormand Cards
Designated as Variation #1 in Braun's catalog, what came to be known as the Lilac is the oldest version of the Dondorf Lenormand.
The restoration is from Le Fanu's private collection that was in a sad state of decay and very fragile so it couldn't safely be used.Here it is, restored to use and enjoy.
After I restored Le Fanu's deck, I found this old, well-used Lilac Dondorf, and offer it to you as-found.
It is the same edition as Le Fanu's Lilac Dondorf deck but this one is original and unrestored, complete with all its blemishes and grunge.
The spelling on the logo printed on each card says 'Francfort' indicating that the deck was made for export.
It is printed on premium card stock that shuffles easily. Each deck is custom ordered. Comes with NO LWB.
